CUPE Saskatchewan
In Saskatchewan, there are over 130 CUPE Locals which are directly chartered to the national union and the majority of these Locals are affiliated with the CUPE Saskatchewan Division.
CUPE Saskatchewan is the policy arm of the Union. We work to bring attention to the issues that affect our province's public services which make our communities great places to live, and we defend our dedicated members who put themselves on the front line everyday to deliver the services we count on as citizens.

Saskatchewan Health Coalition
The Canadian Health Coalition is a public advocacy organization dedicated to the preservation and improvement of Medicare. Our membership is comprised of national organizations representing nurses, health care workers, seniors, churches, anti-poverty groups, women, students and trade unions, as well as affiliated coalitions in 9 provinces and one territory.
Provincial Employment Strategy Committee
Through the Provincial Employment Strategy Committee the parties agree to develop and implement long term strategies for training, retraining and re-employment of Employees to meet current and future human resource needs in order to provide employment security. The Employer agrees to deduct the Employees' share of the Employment Insurance rebate and match that deduction and forward to the the Employment Strategy Committee those monies on a monthly basis.

CUPE, SEIU, SGEU and SAHO through a joint job evaluation project have undertaken to develop and implement a sustainable plan using the principles of Equal Pay for Work of Equal Value and Pay Equity. The plan will determine the minimum qualifications and evaluate the skill, effort, responsibility and working conditions for all jobs in an organization.
