The position is our Chief Shop Steward Position. The term of office will be starting November 2024 to November 2027(as per bylaw Sec.10) Nominations will also be accepted in writing from members who have allowed their names to be filed in writing at the meeting, witnessed by another member who is considered the nominator. We now require an election to be run and members of CUPE 5430 REGION #1 former [PNRHA] have the ability to vote.
Electronic voting for Region #1 will take place starting November 23, 2022@ 0800 and run to November 30,2022 @ 0800. Members must register to vote on the CUPE 5430 Website. Deadline for registering to vote is November 22, @ 0800.

The CUPE Local 5430 Executive Board has called a Special Membership Meeting to Ratify the Bylaw & Policy Amendments that were endorsed at the 2021 Annual General Meeting held on September 28th and 29th
