You Can Count on CUPE 5430

We are CUPE Local 5430 and now more than ever our essential workers are needed to keep Saskatchewan’s health care system going. We have met this challenge head-on. With continued courage, commitment and compassion, our workers have held the frontline during these dangerous times.

From the housekeeping and caretaking staff who ensure all surfaces are sterilized and safe to the mechanics and engineers who keep the machines running smoothly. From the clerical staff who are often the first point of contact for frightened, concerned patients to the technicians who work with such diligence and focus on a patient’s path of care.

From our shift schedulers who have become expert jugglers to our dietary staff who keep the kitchens running. From our mental health workers to our laundry staff, from our volunteer coordinators to our tradespeople and porters, all our workers are going above and beyond to meet the unpredictable and often overwhelming demands of COVID to support you.

We are CUPE local 5430 and you can count on us.
