Over the last three days your bargaining committee has been bargaining with the employer.
This set of bargaining dates focused on exchanging proposals and having discussions about each party’s priorities. We are in the initial stages and have not discussed monetary items yet, such as wages.
The employer’s proposal package is very large and complex. We have numerous concerns and are still in the process of analysing their proposals.
Some of your key priorities in this round of bargaining include improving relief language, a significant wage increase, covering professional fees, and improving working conditions.
We anticipate this to be a challenging round of negotiations. Your continued solidarity and support are key to moving forward. We appreciate everyone who wore our bargaining support T-shirts. If you haven’t ordered one, you can order yours in the member portal here: Member Information Section.
