Speak up for rural heath care

Speak up for rural heath care

Are you concerned about access to health care in rural Saskatchewan?

From Meadow Lake to Maple Creek, Broadview to Biggar health care facilities in every corner of the province are short staffed and facing service reductions, bed closures, and Emergency Room shutdowns.

Enough is enough. It is time to take a stand and demand better.

Join concerned workers, municipal and First Nation leaders, families, and patients for a non-partisan lobby day on rural health care.

We are encouraging folks from across the province to converge at the Regina Legislative Building. Carpooling and bus charters will be available based on demand, and travel subsidies are available.

Schedule:

12:00 p.m.: press conference and rally

12:30–2:00 p.m.: meeting with the official opposition and government MLAs will be requested. Food will be provided.

2:00 p.m.: Question period with media opportunities to follow
